Al Wadleigh – Author, Publisher, and Feldenkrais Educator

I’m Al Wadleigh—Feldenkrais Practitioner, movement educator, and co-host of the Feldenkrais for Life Podcast (top 10% globally). I’ve created dozens of Feldenkrais audio programs and published several of Moshe Feldenkrais’ original works.

My work blends somatic insight, experiential learning, and deep listening. I’ve created hundreds of lessons and programs that help people reconnect with integrated, spontaneous movement.

I also publish several of Moshe Feldenkrais’ original works—preserving and sharing the foundations of a method that invites curiosity over correction, and presence over performance.

Whether I’m teaching, recording, writing, or speaking, my goal is simple: to help you reconnect with the intelligence of your body and the unfolding potential of your life.

What My Students Say

Al is a Wizard of gentle nature. I've learned the wildest upgrades in his office with balance, mobility, flexibility, ease, agility, relaxation, trust, and experimentation. Every session has been unique and transformative.

— Rosie Smith

I have really enjoyed Al’s chair classes because he selects lessons that help all kinds of movement, and his teaching is very creative, comprehensive, and precise. Al takes good care of each of his students. I have learned a lot and look forward to continuing with his classes.

— Gail Thompson

Al Wadleigh's application of Feldenkrais technique has been instrumental in my recovery from Guillain-Barré Syndrome over the last 2+ years. I am an avid amateur pianist and I have had to relearn how to play again. Thanks to Al, I am back to playing the pieces that I thought I had lost forever.

— Eric Zimmerman

Al Wadleigh is a remarkable Feldenkrais Practitioner. He brings extraordinary clarity and sensitivity to his work in his precision, perception, and execution. I have experienced — in a few sessions — a resolution to issues that I have been working on for years.
