Bending, twisting, folding, and extending—and the many ways we combine them—are the fundamental movements upon which the complex actions of daily life are based.
In this chair-based series, we will explore these movements and discover how they can become easier, clearer, and more fluid. As the underlying movements improve, so can everyday activities: looking over your shoulder while backing up the car, bending down to pick something up, reaching into a cabinet, walking, gardening, and exercising.
The lessons are done while sitting in a chair, making this an accessible way to explore movement and bring greater ease into everyday action.
Join us to explore the movements that make everyday life easier—one comfortable, curious movement at a time.
