These are unconscious tension habits. We are not even aware of those habits most of the time until we start to experience discomfort or pain. Clenching the jaw, grinding the teeth, and stiffening the neck and shoulders are examples of how we hold tension.
Most conventional jaw tension exercises will have you do some basic opening and closing of the jaw and massage of your face.
