Explore the movements of flexion. The flexors, the muscles that close joints, are associated with tension and stress. Do this exercise to ease tensions of stress and anxiety and alleviate back and neck pain.

Explore the movements of flexion. The Flexors are a class of muscles that close the joints. Grasping something with the hand is an act of flexion. As is bending the elbow or the hip joint. The flexors are designed to contact and then let go. They are not intended for long durations of contraction. Because of habits of repetitive use, stress, and anxiety, we overly contract them. Especially the muscles of the abdomen, chest, and lower back. This exercise alleviates your nervous system of the prolonged and fatiguing contractions.

The result?

  • Greater length in front
  • Relaxed abdomen
  • Reduction of stress and anxiety
  • East back and neck pain
  • Improved breathing
