This lesson explores oscillation—gentle, rhythmic back-and-forth movements—as a powerful way to reorganize the relationship between your spine, ribs, chest, and pelvis.
Rather than holding or stretching, you’ll use small oscillatory movements to allow the spine to move through the chest. As the ribs and vertebrae begin to differentiate, many people experience a surprising sense of length, space, and ease—without effort.
Oscillation gives the nervous system time to listen. Through repetition and variation, unnecessary holding softens, coordination improves, and movement becomes clearer and more fluid.
In this lesson, you’ll explore:
- Oscillatory movements that travel through the spine and chest
- Differentiating ribs from vertebrae for greater spinal freedom
- Using subtle pelvic variations to support spinal length
- Reducing compression in the chest and upper back
- Discovering how rhythm and reversibility improve ease
This lesson is not about forcing posture or “fixing” alignment. It’s about allowing the spine to organize itself dynamically—responding to movement, rhythm, and support.
Many people report feeling taller, lighter, and more buoyant afterward, with improved breathing and a clearer sense of vertical support.
This lesson is part of a curated free series.

i absolutely love this one. the download of individual ATMs from the email with the download links is not intuitive. once the window opens on the macbook pro, it is impossible to download it. i had to open the link on my mobile, there i had a few tricks to bring it onto my laptop HD. maybe you can add some info as to how to do it in an easier way? much appreciate. I wish you a wonderful holiday season. Marlyse (Cert. Feldenkrais Practitioner, Egypt)
Nice one. Very gentle and has a nice slow, build up to the final series of movements. I went for a walk with my dogs afterwards and could really sense the connection between my pelvis and head.
Excellent. The session relieved the pain in my hip.
Very good lesson. I love Al’s work.
